Dear Mr. Giambusso:
On November 16, 1973, Duke Power Company submitted the Startup Report for Oconee Nuclear Station, Unit 1.
The report addressed unit startup and power escalation testing through 1200 hours0.0139 days <br />0.333 hours <br />0.00198 weeks <br />4.566e-4 months <br />, October 4, 1973.
At that time, all or part of several power escalation tests remained to be completed.
Submitted herewith is Supplement 1 to the Startup Report, which addresses those tests completed af ter the above date and prior to 2400 hours0.0278 days <br />0.667 hours <br />0.00397 weeks <br />9.132e-4 months <br />, February 28, 1974.
Following completion of further testing, additional supplementary information will be compiled and submitted concerning the results of that testing.
Three copies of the supplement are attached. Thirty-seven copies of the supplement are being transmitted under separate cover.
