Dear Mr. Davis:
J Please refer to your le;ter of June 30, 1972 and my letter of July 27, 1972 regarding verification of minimum wall thickness requirements for valves important to nuclear safety for Oconee Units 1, 2, and 3.
Our program of wall thickness measurements for Oconee Unit 1 will be complete and records available for examination by your inspector on 1
December 1, 1972 as indicated by our July 27 letter.
- Ecwever, preparation of engineering justificatieri for valves which do not conform to procurement specifications, but do,~in our opinion, satisfy service requirements will not be completed.until January 15, 1973 for Unit 1.
Also, the schedule for Units 2 and 3 for wall thickness measurements records and engineering justifications for valves which may not conform to procurement specifications is revised as follows:
