Dear Mr. Purple:
My letter of May 1, 1974 transmitted a copy of the topical report, 1
Duke-1, Quality Assurance Program, dated April 1, 1974. This letter j
also stated that this topical report would be incorporated by reference into the Oconee License Application.
Subsequently, the operating license for Oconee 3 was issued before the topical report was incor-porated in the license application.
3 The quality assurance program described in the topical report, Duke-1, giality Assurance Program, is applicable to all Duke Power Company l
nuclear power plants. The topical report is currently undergoing l
review by the Commission. Upon completion of this review, the Oconee Final Safety Analysis Report will be revised to reflect the quality assurance program presented in the topical report.
