In accordance with the understandings which were reflected in Secretary (Rall's letter of March 20, 1964 to Chairman Seaborg, I as forwarding herewith Yolumes I and II of the Occeee Buelear Stati m Freliminary Safety Analysis Report, filed by Duke Power Capeny for the proposed constructics and operatica of a two-unit nuclear power plant at its Oconee Beelaar Station located in enstara Cecame County, apprnrimately eight miles mortheast of Seneca, South Carolina. 'Ibe reactors are designed for initial operatica at 2452 thermal messwatts with a net electrical output of approximately 839 megawatts.
We would appreciata receiving a..mi, from the Fish and Wildlife Service concerning those features of the pr-4-x:2 reactor operatica which might have radialogical effects cm fish and shellfish.
On the basis of our tentative schedule for this project, it would be helpful to have your z yvit available for our use by March 1, 1967 Sineerely yours,
