Silver Spring, Maryland 20910 Dear Mr. Pack Duka Power Company has filed an application for operating licenses to authorise operation of three pressurized water type nuclear reactors at its Oconee Nuclear Station in Oconee County, South Carolina. Con-struction of the reactors, designated as the Oconee Nuclear Station Unita 1, 2, and 3, was authorized by the Commission with the issuance of Construction Permit Nos. CPPR-33, CPPR-34, and CPPR-35 on November 6, 1967.
At the Commission's request, the Environmental Meteorology Branch, Institute for Atmospheric Sciences reviewed the Plant Design Analysis Report for the Oconee Station Units 1, 2, and 3 and on June 9,1967 submitted ea== ants to the Commission.
A copy of Application Amendment No. 7 with Volumes 1 and 2 of the Oconee Station Units 1, 2, and 3 Final Safety Analysis Report is en-closed. This information is forwarded to you for your review and com-ments on the meteorologics1 aspects of the proposed operation of Units 1, 2, and 3 which might have a bearing on our safety review.
