The purpose of this letter is to confirm our ' phone conversatica of December 31 and to enurerate the irnediate and long tern actions taken to eliminate the problem encountered at the above valve applicatien.

A. Continue to utilize the present SM3-2 operator with alteraticas to the Bellville washers (torque spring package) and motor.

i B. Rewind the motor fror. 3600 RIM to 1800.UM.

C. Change from the present 13-spring washer set (.189" thick
