Ilatch Baxley, Georgia Reportable Occurrence Report No. 50-366/1980-099.

While doing an instrument check, the

'B' Erywell 112-O, analyzer was found giving a falso low O2 reading.

While investigating this problem, it was discovered that the reagent gas flow was not correct.

The

'A' analyzer was operable. There were no ef fects upon public health and safety due to this event.

This is a repetitive event as last reported on Reportable Occurrence Report 50-366/1979-104.

The cause of the event has been attributed to personnel error.

The reagent gas flow was not checked after the reagent gas bottles were changed out.

IINP-2-3882 The reagent gas flow was set correctly and functionally tested.

was performed satisfactorily.

The regulators on the reagent gas bottles have been conspicuously marked to warn personnel to double check the reagent gas flow when reagent gas bottles are changed out.

The operation of the plant was not effected. Unit II is the only unit that utilizes this type of analyzer, Comsip Delphi tiodel K-4.

No inherent problems were found during the generic reveiw.
