Appendix A NOTICE OF VIOLATION L
' Cincinnati Gas and Electric Company Docket No. 50-358 Based on the results of an NRC inspection conducted on May 13 and 14, 1980, it appears that certain of your activities were not conducted in full com-pliance with NRC requirements as noted below. This is an infraction.
10 CFR 50, Appendix B, Criterion III states, in part, that " Measures shall be established to assure that applicable regulatory requirements and the design basis.
are correctly translated into specifications, drawings, procedures, and instructions."
Paragraph 17.1.3 of the FSAR states, in part, "The design control reviews are conducted to ensure that the designs, as specified in the codes, stan-dards, requirements of CG&E policy, and regulatory criteria, are correctly translated into design documents such as specifications, drawings, proce-dures, and instructions."
Contrary to the above, design of the connecting bolts for pipe whip re-straints FWFR-1029 and FWFR-1030 was inadequate in that bolt dimensions and configuration were not contained in the specification provided for field construction.
