50-445/80-11 50-446/80-11 Appendix A NOTICE OF VIOLATION Based on results of the NRC inspection conducted on April 4, 1980, it appears

that certain of your activities were not conducted in full compliance with the conditions of your NRC Construction Permit No. CPPR-127 as indicated below:
Failure to Follow Piping Installation Procedures 10 CFR 50, Appundix B, Criterion V states in part, " Activities af fectf t'g quality shall be prescribed by documented instructions, procedures, or drawings, of a type appropriate to the circumstances and shall be accom-plished in accordance with these instructions, procci s, or drawings.
The Piping Erection Specification 2323-MS-100, Revis1_a 5, as modified by Design Change Authority 4284 in paragraph 7.5, prohibits the temporary support of piping installations from valves or equipment.
Contrary to the above:
On April 4, 1980, at approximately 3:00 p.m., the NRC Resident Reactor Inspector observed that the suction nozzle flange of Safety Injection Pump TCX-SLAPS 1-01 (Unit 2, Safety Train A) was being useri as the temporary (and the only means of support) support for pipe spools 502, 402 and 302, as identified on Brown and Root Isometric Drawing BRP-SI-2-SB-001, Revision 0 in Line 6"SI-2-038-151R-2.
This is an infraction.
