ORDER (July 10, 1980)
On July 9, 1980, Ms. Anne Morse, representative of CREC, called the Board Chairman to. request an extension of time within which to file answers to interrogatories.
(Such answers should have been filed by July 7,1980.)
Ms. Morse advised that the person principally involved in preparing CREC's answers had been ill, and that CREC needed another week (i.e., until July 16, 1980) to prepare its responses.
Ms. Morse was informed that she should inquire of the Applicant and Staff as to whether either had uny objection to the extension.
Shortly thereafter, the Staff counsel telephoned the Board Chairman and advised: (1) that the Staff had no objection, and (2) that she had been advised by the Applicant that it had no objection, although the extension might make it impossible for the Applicant to respond prior to August 1, as it had hoped to do (after which tims the Applicant's counsel would be unavailable for 3 weeks).

- Good cause having been deconstrated, CREC's recuest is granted.
Its supplemental responses to discovery cust be filed (i.e., cailed) no later than July 16, 1980.
Under that schedule, the Applicant and Staff would be expected to file any further suc=ary disposition notiens by August 4, 1980.
Although we are prepared to extend this ti=e if absolutely necessary, we would hope that those parties could meet. that schedule, at least insofar as advising us with respect to any matters as to which they do not intend to pursue sun: nary disposition motions.
("a urge the Applicant, if it can ar ange to do so, to attes. c mo pick up its copy of CREC's respctse en July 16 in La Crosse.)
The Board is i
now anticipating holding a prehearing conference during ne week of September S-12, 1980 and would hope to have received CREC's responses to any sunznary disposition motions before doing so.
