Areas Inspected: An inspection was made of the Westinghouse measurement control program.
The inspection involved 32 inspector-hours on site by one NRC inspector and was begun during the regular hours.
Results: The licensee was found to be in compliance with NRC requirements in the one area examined during the inspection except for the following five items:
1.
Failure of NDA measurement control procedures to describe requirements for reporting program data (80-05-01).
2.
Failure to maintain integrity of NDA standards (80-05-02).
3.
Failure of the program data to reflect the current process and measurement condition existing at the time the control measurements are made (80-05-04).
Failure to verify the assigned value of impSrkty standards using two different 4.
measurement systems that verify each other (80-05-03).
5.
Failure to establish control chart limits for spectrometric metallic impurities (80-05-05).
