Dear Mr. Keppler:
On March 28, 1980, Mr. T. D. Geib of Public Service Company of Indiana, Inc., (PSI) telephoned your office to cotify you of a potentially reportable incident as required by 10 CFR 50.55(e). This incident was also described in an April 25, 1980, (DSN 0425804002) interim report to your office. This constitutes the progress report promised in the April 21, 1980, interim report.
As discussed in the interim report, PSI has requested the ASME to provide a cede interpretation of the requirements pertaining to the provision of Certified laterial Test Reports for weld filler material. The ASME has not responded to date, but PSI still anticipates a final report being filed on or before Oc::ober 1, 1980.
