Grand Gulf Nuclear Station Units 1 and 2 Docket Nos. 50-416/417 File 0260/15525/13526 PRD-80/11, Interim Report, Rosemount Model 510 DU Trip / Calibration Units and Model 1152 Pressure Transmitters AECM-80/141 On March 27, 1929, Mississippi Power & Light Company (MP&L) noti-fied Mr. F. Cantrell of your office of Potentially Reportable Deficiencies t
(PRDs) at the Grand Gul? Nuclear Station (GGNS) construction site. These deficiencies concern Rosemount Model 510 DU trip / calibration units and Model 1152 pressure transmitters.
The deficiency with respect to the Model 510 DU Trip Unit had pre -
viously been reported to the NRC as a reportable condition per 10CFR50.
55(e). This is documented by our letter to you, AECM-80/31, dated Jan-uary 30, 1980. The corrective actions described in the attached interim report pertain to the NSSS scope of supply. We expect to submit a final report by October 22, 1980.
We have determined that the deficiency pertaining to the 1152 Pres-sure Transmitter is reportable within the meaning of 10CFR50.55(e).
