- '+*e High Level Waste S.torage System Thank you for tihe April 1980 monthly report transmitted with your letter dated May 15,1980(#12.545R17).
I was pleased to see the increase in manpower expenditure during the month of April as compared with the expendi-tures for February and March. ~I am also pleased to see your initiation of actions that can make an early determination of the extent of. fogging in the 802 vapor space.

Thank you also for your letter dated May 30,1980 (fRS0-1611 Rl) which transmitted for my approval a copy of the Program Plan Sumary Overview Report. I have noticed one minor additional char.ge which I telephoned to Mr. D. B. Cartmell of your staff on June 3,1980.
In the first sentence of.
- m the third paragraph of the first page of the report text, " Savannah River 1.i.'"
Laboratory" should be replaced with " Savannah River Plant." Subject to this additional change, the subject Program Plan Summary Overview entitled,
" Inspection and Evaluation of Nuclear Fuel Services High Level Waste Stora Systema (RHO-LD-130) is approved by the Nuclear Regulatory Comission (NRC)ge staff. By copy of this letter, the Department of Energy Richland Operations
