Dear-Mr. Grier:
j The Ref. a) letter forwarded to the NRC per 10CFR50.55(e) regulations, a report concerning deficiencies in the vertical fire danpers furnished by Ruskin Manufacturing Co. to the Callaway and Wolf Creek jobsites.

The additional problems experienced since the initial Ref. a) report are described in a supplemental 10CFR50.55(e) report, enclosed herewith.
This supplement describes modifications established and implemented by Ruskin Manufacturing Co. and which ultimately will be qualified on the basis of performance tests prior to and during site installation.
A follow-up program to ensure proper implementation of these modifications has since been established at each SNUPPS jobsite and will be monitored by cognizant site personnel.
The attached supplement is being treated as a final report under current 10CFR50.55(e) definition.
