On December 24, 1970, uc foruarded to you a copy of the Cotmission's December 4,1970 Statement of General Policy for inplementation of the Uational Environmental Policy Act in its licensing proceedings (35 FR 18469).
In regard to facilities for which construction permits previously have been issued without detailed statements, the revised Appendix D to 10 CFR Part 50 requires, among other things, that holders of construction permits nust, as soon as practicable,' file an Environ-mental Report uith the AEC discussinr, the environmental considerations enumerated in paragraph 1 of the revised regulation.
As an aid in preparing Environmental Reports, ue foruarded to you on March 12, 1971, a, copy of a draf t " Guide to the Preparation of Environmental Reports for Nuclear Power Plants."
Uc have not received your Environmental Report for the Arkansas Nuclear One, Unit 1, and would appreciate knowing when you intend to submit the required report.
