In response to your request dated November 1,1977, enclosed is Amendment No. 29 to Facility Operating License DPR-51 for Arkansas Nuclear One, Unit 1 (ANO-1).
The amendment modifies the ANO-1 Technical Specifications to delete the requirement for submittal of an Annual Operating Report, while retaining the requirements which had been included therein for submittal of an Annual Occupational Exposure Data Report and the report of steam generator tube inservice inspection.
Various modifications to your proposal were necessary to meet our require-ments. These were discussed with and agreed to by members of your staff.
The requested additions to pages 77 and 110d, and a portion of your requested modifications to page 110m, will be reviewed at a later date in conjunction with review of your October 19, 1977 submittal. The October submittal and the requested changes concern revised inservice inspection requirements to conform with the requirements of Title 10 Code of Federal Regulations Part 50 (10 CFR 50), paragraph 50.55a(g).
Copies of our related Safety Evaluation and the Notice of Issuance are enclosed.
