Deficiencies have been identified in the ejected rod worth calculations on which your rod insertion limits are based.
Based on our review of infornation from MN, your present rod insertion limits are valid tmtil the time of control rod interchange, after which time potential ejected rod worths greater than 1% Ak/k naf result when operating with your current Technical Specifications and your present fuel cycle.
i;efore you plan to operate following control rod interchange, you are requested to submit either:
(1) results of analysis and/or expericent which show that your existing rod position limits assure that the maxinum ejected rod worth is less than allowabic licits (Technical Specification 3.5.2.3) after control rod interchange occurs, OT (2) revised rod position limits in the forn of proposed i
