Gentlemen:
The Sacracento Municipal Utility District reported that the B&ti snall break analysis had not been based on the vors: break location in

Reportable Occurrence Report 73-4, dated June 14, 1973.
At that eine the District co=nitted to providing your office with a follev up report

upon completion of the B&W analysis and acceptance therof by :'RC.
B&W cortpleted their analysis and subnitted the repert to 5RC in a letter dated July 18, 1973.
The District submitted a r2 quest for authorizatien for operation of Rancho Seco Nuclear Generatin ; Station Uni: No. 1 at 100% f;11 pcuer based upon that analysis and a requested change to Rancho Seco Uni: 1 Technical Specifications No. 53, dated July 13, 1978.
On July 20, 1973, the District received authorization for LC0f; full power operation per a telecon froa J. 2 vet ig :: D. Raasch.
