TO APPLICATION BY FLORIDA POWER CORPORATION FOR A SECTION 104b CONSTRUCTION PERMIT AND LICENSE FOR A UTILIZATION FACILITY DOCKET NO. 50-302 Florida Power Corporation, a corporation organized and existing under the laws of the State of Florida, applicant for an operating license and construction permit for Crystal River Unit 3 Nuclear Generating Plant, hereby amends its Application by the filing of Amendment No. 19.

Amendment No. 19 consists of revised pages to the Final Safety Analysis Report and Supplement No.1 contained therein. These revisions are in response to the Request for Additional Information made by the Division of Reactor Licensing in the letter dated April 10, 1972.

ThiJ amendment to the Application contains no restricted data or other defense information.

Crystal Ri'.er Nuclear Generating Plant Docket No. 50-302 Enclosed are three (3) executed originals and nineteen (19) conformed copies of Amendment No.19 to the Application for Licenses for Crystal River Unit 3 Nuclear Generating Plant.

Amendrient No. 19 consists of revised pages to the Final Safety Analysis Report and Supplement No.1 contained therein. These revisions are in response to the Request for Additional Information made by the Division of Reactor Licensing in the letter dated April 10, 1972.

Based on discussions between Florida Power Corporation and Division of Reactor Licensing representatives on April 26, 19 72 in AEC offices, it is recognized that considerable effort is requir >d to respond to 1.1 formation requested on Section 12, Conduct of Operations and Section 13, Initial Tests and Operation.

Therefore information requested on these sections will be submitted on or about May 19, 1972.

In addition, responses to Items 1.2,1.4,14.6 and 14.7 will be included with the May 19th transmittal.

Item 10.4 wi21 be responded to at such a time when Section 15, Technical Specifications is updated.
