In accordance with the understandings whict vore reflected in Chairnan Seaborg's letter of October 3,1963 to Admiral Karo, I ao forwarding hercuith Volumes 1, 2, 3, and 4 of the Prolininar r Safety Analysis Report filed by Florida Power Corporation for the proposed construction and aperation of two pressurized water nuclear reactors on-the CorporatiotJs site on the Gulf of Mexico, 70 miles north of Tampa and about 7-1/2 miles northwest of Crystal River, Citrus County, Florida.

l We would appreciate receiving the results of a review by the Coact l
and Geodetic Survey concerning seismological characteristics of the proposed reactors locations which may have a bearing upon our evalu-ation of the suitability of the proposed site.
On the basis of our tentative schedule for this project, it vould be dcsirable to have your report available for our use by November 1, 1967.
