On Wednesday, November 3, 1976, the Structural Integrity Test (SIT) for Crystal River Unit #3 was successfully com-pleted.
As per our November 2 conversation with Mr. Leon Engle of your staff, we are forwarding for your review forty (40) copies of the Preliminary Test Report for the CR#3 SIT.

Dear Mr. Griffin:
The Structural Integrity Test for Crystal River ~ Unit #3 Reactor Building was begun on Sunday, October 31, 1976 and completed on Wednesday, November 3, 1976.
As indicated in the enclosed Preliminary Report, the overall. behavior of the Reactor Building was acceptable in all respects. The repaired dome was sig-nificantly well behaved and provides quantitative justification of the re-pair approach utilized.
The Final Report preparation will begin next week and there should be no difficulty in meeting schedule requirements for its submittal to the NRC.
The entire Gilbert team who participated in the~ Dome Repair and the Structural Integrity Test wishes to express"their appreciation to you for creating a positive work situation over the past several months. We look forward to the possibility of working with you again in the future.
