Dear Mr. Schwencer:

In response to your March 7,1973 letter, relating to inadvertent disabling of components by racking out of circuit breakers for a N

different component, we give the following information:

All normally closed circuits in our 6.9 kv, 4.16 kv d 480 volt switch gear are arranged so that when the breakes are " racked out", the circuit is maintained through finger contacts. With this ' feature, we do not have the problem as described in your March 7 letter.

As requested, we are providing for your distribution, one signed original and thirty-nine additional copies 02: our response.

Please contact us if you require any discussion or clarification of the above information.

Very truly yours, J. T. Rodgers Assistant Vice President 37 8003040 JTR/ns Enclosures
