PROPOSED INTERIM FIRE PROTECTION TECHNICAL SPECIFICATION DAVIS BESSE, UNIT 1 The enclosed samole Technical Specifications are intended to provide guidance for the preparation of interim Technical Soecifications on fire protection systems currently in use at Davis Besse, Unit "o.1.
You have already been provided a cocy of the sample Technical Specifi-cations by telecopy on November 21, 1977.
The enclosure uses the Standard Technical Specification format and may require some adaption to conform with the fomat of your Technical Specifications. Blacks cr parentheses appear where the information is plant specific. The essential part of this guidance is to indicate the scope of material to be included in the Technical Specifications for your facility in the areas of equipment and administrative requirements, and the actions that we would find appropriate if a limiting condition for operation could not be met.
Your assistance is requested in the precaration of interim fire pro-tection Technical Specifications for Davis Besse Unit 1.
In order to support the issuance of fire protection Technical Specifications by December 31. 1977, we request your submittal of a license amendment application with the proposed interim Technical Specifications by December 7, 1977. These matters were discussed with you on the same day that the interia Technical Specifications were telecopied to you.
