DAVIS DESSE I:ETEOR0 LOGICAL OATA We find that the relative concentration values for the Davis Besse site as calculated in using the August 1974 through August 1975 data are 2.5 times lower than those calculated in using the Decemoer 1969 thrnugh Novem0er 1970 data. These values are also significantly lower (about a factor of 2) than those calculated for the Perry site, also along the shoreline of Lake Erie, and which would be expected to exhibit similar dispersion characterittics.
Therefore, to verify that the relative concentration values are recre-sentative and conservative for the Cavis Besse site, we request that you submit an additional year of onsite data collected since August 1975 wita data recovery greater than 90 percent.
The additional one year data (August 1973 through August 1976) should ae submitted in the form of joint frequency distributions of wind speed and wind direction measured at the vertical temperature gradient between 35-feet and 250-feet. Also, we request that you provide similar joint frequency distributions for the tuo year period, August 1974 through August 1976.
We request that you notify us within 7 days after receiDt of this letter that the information requested will be provided within 45 days or explain why you cannot meet this schedule and provide the schedule that you will meet.
