This refers to the meeting held at the O' Hare Hilton Hotel in Chicago, Illinnis, on August 5,1975, at your request. This meeting was related to activities authorized by NRC Construction Permit No. CPPR-80. Attendees at the meeting are shown in the i
enclosure to this letter.
The meeting included a discussion of actions recently taken by Toledo Edison Company and Bechtel Corporation to assure that the Davis-Besse nuclear plant is constructed in accordance with applicable standards and requirements. Also discussed was the considerable news media interest that resulted from the earlier identified conenin= ant coating and electrical cable probicas.
We believe the meeting was beneficial in providing a better under-standing of mutual problems that exist with respect to obenining an Operating License.
