This refers to the inspection conducted by Mr. A. G. Januska
of this office on April 12-14, 1976, of activitles at
Devia-Besse Nuclear Power Station, Unit 1 authorised by
NRC Construction Permit No. CPPR-80 and to the discussion of
our f4=d4==s with Mr. Evans at the conclusion of the inspection.

The enclosed copy of our inspection report ideatifies areas
awa=4nad during the inspection. Within these areas, the
'
inspection consisted of a selective av==4n= tion of procedures
and representativo records, observations, and interviews with
personnel.
Certain activities, set forth under Other Significant
Items in the Sumery of Findings section of t'sa enclosed
inspection report, appear to be a deviation from commitments
which you have made in previous correspondence with the
Commission. Please advise us in writing within twenty days
of the corrective action you have taken or plan to take,
showing the estimated date of completion with regard to this
deviation.
In accordance with Section 2.790 of the NRC's " Rules of
Preatica," Part 2, Title 10, Code of Federa.'. Regulations, a
copy of this latter and the enclosed inspect:fon report will
be placed in the NRC's Public Document Room, except as follows.
If this report contains information that you or your contractors
believe to be proprietary, you must apply ir. writing to this
office, within twenty days of your receipt cif this letter, to
withhold such information from public discicsure. The
