It is requested that Regulatory Operations personnel familiar with the construction activities of Oconce Units 2 and 3 be available at the July 23 and 24 ACRS subcommittee meeting to be held at the Uoliday Inn in Clenson, South Carolina. The subcocaittee meeting is expected to start folleving a morning tour of the Oconce station July 23. This request is being nade in anticipation of the subco=mittee's interest in construction and quality assurance.
On Rancho Seco,. Dr. Straton, who is also subcommittee Chairman for the Oconee 2 and 3 review, requested that presence of regulatory personnel familiar with construction activities and implementation of _ that applicant's quality assurance progra:n.
In as cuch as Oconee 1 is the prototype B&W plant, it is reasonable to expect that the coc:mittee vill vant to bear about its startup and operating experience fro:a a RO point of view.
You should be prepared to discuss that if called upon.
