Order Extending Provisional Construction Permit Completion Date By application dated January 25, 1972, Duke Power Company requested an extension'of.the latest completion date specified in Provisional Construction Permit No. CPPR-34.
The permit authorizes the construction of a pressurized-water nuclear reactor designated as the Oconee Nuclear Station. Unit 2 at the applicant's site in Oconee County, South Carolina, approximately~eight miles northeast of deneca, South Carolina.
Good cause having been shown for this extension pursuant to Section 185 of the Atemic Energy Act of 1954, as amended, and Section 50.55(b) of 10 CFR Part 50 of the Commission's regulations, IT IS HEREBY ORDERED THAT the' latest completion date specified in Provisional Construction Permit No. CPPR-34 is extended from February 28, 1972 to February 28, 1973.
