Receipt of the suppim. ental inforc.ation t;as acknowledged in
-l the cover letter, dhted August 27, 1975, that fon:arded the 1
inspection report to the licenset. No further response from the licen:ce concerning the event was requested. The licensee's I.
response and subsequent IE in-office review closed out this i t<.n.
TM licensea's sur.ple:cntal report, in response to IE's
~1 request for additional infont.ation, i:rimarily provided more datfils on the initial cause of the transient and the reason for tne failure of the power operated pressurizer relief valve.
Cecrective actions taken focused on these aspects of the event.
