Review Status:' Partial On October 25 'a meeting was held between Licensing and the applicant to discuss tha. additional infornation that was requested by MEB on Topical Reports BAW10037,19038,10050, and 10051 (oconce-1). The
- mceting concluded that the dynamic analyses are insuf ficient to provide
=a valid vibration prediction of the reactor internals due to the lack of a defined forcing function. For qualifying Oconee-1 as a valid prototype plant, topical BAV-1003S and portions of BAW-10051 should be upgraded to meet the requirements of Safety Guide 20.
The appli-cant indicated that further efforts including component testing of instrument guide tubes and incore nozzle assemblien vill be performed for better understanding of the flow-induced tibration behavior. We i

are preparing Topical Report Evaluations on BAW10037 and BAW10050 which indLente our acceptance of these topicals. I.AU-10038 and BAu-10051 Topical Report Evaluations will be completed one weet after receipt of adequate responses to our Request for Additional Information of October 6, 1972.
