pressurized water nuclear reactor to be kaeum as "Ocomes Nur1 mar Station, Unit 3."
This new reactor f=r414ty is to be constructed adjacent to Unit Nos.1 med 2 at the Company's Oconee site in eastern Oconee County, approximately eight miles northeast of Seneca, South Carolina. The new Oconee Station Unit No. 3 is scheduled for completion between November 1, 1972 and August 1, 1973. The applicant estimates that the total cost of the Oconee Nuclear Station, Units 1, 2 and 3 including the initial core for each unit will be approximately $340,850,000. The addition of Unit 3 will bring the total capacity developed at the Oconee site to 2622 megawatta (electrical).
