- NOTICE OF PROPOSED ISSUANCE OF A'END'ESTS TO-FACILITY OPERATING LICE.' DES The Nuclear Regulatory Commission (the Commission) is considering the. issucnce of amendments to. Facility' Operating Licenses No. 'DPR-35, DPR-47' and DPR-55 issued to Duke Power Company (the licensee) for operation of the Oconee Nuelcar Station, Units 1, 2 and 3 (the facility), located
.in Oconce County, South Carolina.
The amendments would revise the_ provisions in the Technical Specifications relating-to the capacity for storage of new or spent fuci in Cconee Unit No. _3 spent fuel. pool. The proposed modifications would increase the storage capacity from 216 to 474 fuel assemblics by replacing the existing storage
- racks -with those of a design capabic of accomodating an increased number
.of assemblies, in accordance with the licensee's application for amendment dated September 12', 1975.
' Prior to issuance-of the_ proposed. license amendments, the Commission T will' have made the findings required by the Atomic Energy Act of 1954, as amended -(the Act), and - the Commission's rules and regulations.
