APPENDIX A NOTICE OF DEVIATION Northern States Power Company License No. DPR-42 DPR-60 Based on the results of an NRC inspection conducted during the period April 1-30, 1980, it appears that one of your activities was not conducted in conformance with your commitments to the Commission as indicated below.
Your responses to IE Bulletin No. 78-05, dated May 30, 1978 and August 22, 1979, commit that the special inspections of plunger arm clearance on motor ttarters on safety related systems would be completed during the next re?ueling outage. Both units have subsequently completed refueling outages.
Contrary to the above, the special inspections had not been completed for the motor starters associated with the power operated relief valve isola-tion valves for either unit.
