This refers to the inspection conducted by D. E. Moore of this office on April 22

-23, 1979, of activities authorized by NRC License No. ISNM-1698 from Portsmouth Martine terminal to Savannah River Plant at the Savannah River Plant and to the

1 discussions of our findings held with S. W. Stoneburner by telephone at the conclusion of the inspection.

Areas examined during this inspection included your program for safeguarding special nuclear material under the applicable provisions of Title 10, Code of 4'_

Federal Regulations, Part 73, " Physical Protection of Plants and Materials" and the specific requirements of license conditions and your approved Secu.ity Plan.

Within these areas, the inspection consisted of selective examinations of proce-dures and representative records, interviews with personnel, performance tests, and observations by the inspector.

Within the scope of this inspection, no items of noncompliance were disclosed.
