We have reviewed the proposal in your March 28, 1980, letter (Serial No.
1-123) for meeting the requirements of Section VII.2 of our March 5, 1980, Order to Modify the License.
We find your commitments referenced in your letter to the December 6, 1979, draft of ANS 3.1 acceptable for meeting the requirements of Section VII.2 of the Order with the following clarifications:
In meeting Section 5.2.1.8 of the draft ANS 3.1, you will provide training in supervising skills to new senior licensed operators subsequent to their obtaining a Senior Reactor Operator license but within six months after they are assigned shift duties as a Senior Reactor Operator.
