Docket Files, LB f2 Files DEisenhut RTedesco ASchwencer IPeltier Cccket No.: 50-358 I 1 3 1980 MService Mr. Earl A. Borgmann Vice President - Engineering Cincinnati Gas and Electric Company P. O. Box 960 Cincinnati, Ohio 45201

Dear Mr. Borgmann:

SUCJECT:

RECRGANIZATION OF THE OFFICE OF NUCLEAR REACTOR REGULATION Effective April 28, 1980, the Office of Nuclear Reactor Regulation was reorganized. A necessary period of transition from the old responsibilities and interfaces to the new is being made with a minimum of' disruption to on-gcing activities.

The organizational structure, including supervisory and management assignments to the branch chief level is shown in the Enclosure. The management of all licensing matters with respect to your facility has been assigned to Mr. I. Peltier. He may be contacted by telephone at (301) 492-837!.. The Branch Chief is A. Schwencer. All considerations for your facility with regard to licensing activities should be made through your assigned management represcistati,cs.

If, during the course of our review of licensing matters related to your plant you believe there is a need to appeal a staff position, this need should be brought to the staff's attention as early as possible so that an appropriate appeals process can be identified on a timely basis. A written request is not necessy and all such requests should be initiated through the assigned staff prcject manager. This procedure is an informal one, designed to allow oppor-tunity to discuss areas of disagreement in the case review at higher levels of management in both the staff and your organization.

Sincerely,

  1. 63{ekI.
