REVISION TO SEQUOYAH TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS This letter confirms the oral authorization that was given on June 20th to proceed with plant heatup with an inoperable hanger on the pressurizer relief line. A facsimile of your letter on this matter was provided on June 20, 1980. This change is similar to those described in your letter of May 28, 1980, and approved by NRC.
This new deficiency will also be corrected before initial criticality.
Since no fission product inventory will exist in the primary system, no additional risk to the health and safety of the public is incurred for this change.
A formal amendment to your license will be processed in the near future.
