On April 18, 1979, the Atomic Safety and Licensing Board (Licensing Board) issued its Initial Decision in this proceeding, LBP-79-13, 9 NRC 489 (1979),
but stayed its effect until completion of the Safety Evaluation Report (SP')
supplement addressing those generic activities under continuing study which-have both relevance to facilities of the type under review and potentially significant public safety implications.
The enclosed SER, Supplement No. 3, is furnished to the Licensing Board in accordance with its request.
(Initial Decision at 545.) A copy of SER, Supplement No. 3 has previously been provided to the parties to this proceeding.
