Attached you will find a copy of action taken by this Board on October 1, 1979.
The Board reaffirmed it's position that the " Spent" Nuclear fuel or " Waste" should be transported on the Inter-state Highways. This action was at it's meeting on April 8, 1980.

Commissioner Russell L. Dellinger introduced the following motion:
Motioned by Russell L. Dellinger that the County hereby resolve that it is opposed to the movement of
" Spent Nuclear Fuel" or " waste" over the roads through Lincoln County.
The roads are narrow and winding and in many cases in bad condition increasing the chances of an accident much more than staying on better roads such as the inter-state highways.

Dear Mr. Porter:
The Lincoln County Board of Comissioners at its moeting on October 1, 1979 passed a resolution that it is opposed to the movement of " Spent Nuclear Fuel" or "vante" over the roads through Lincoln County.
