Glen Ellyn, Illinois 60137 Dear Mr. Keppler SUBMITTAL DATE EXTENSION INTERIM REPORT - SURFACE MOUNTED PLATES CALLAWAY PLANT UNITS 1 AND 2 On May 21, 1980, we provided Mr. W. A.
Hansen verbal notification of a potential significant deficiency regarding the installation of surface mounted plates.
Since that date a reinspection of all surface mounted plates has been underway.
Since our reinspection is not complete, and to insure that all data has been reviewed and evaluated properly, we anticipate that the date of issue of our final report will be September 8, 1980.
