REPORT Ceorgia Power Company-Plant E. I. Hatch Baxicy, Georgia 31513 e

Reportabic Occurrence Report No. 50-366/1980-054.

I On May 24, 1980, with the mode switch in run, while performing calibration on both Primary Containment Purge Vacuum Breaker Pressure Switches, 2T48-N211 was found inoperable. The remaining instrument, 2T48-N210, was operabic.

Both instruments are Static-0-Ring Pressure Switches.

There were no ef fects upon public health and safety, nor was safe plant operation affccted. :This is a repetitive event as last reported on Reportable Occurrence Report No. 50-366/1978-016.

l The cause of the occurrence was personnel error.

The initial diagnosis was a stuck switch.

It was removed and repaired. After installation it was determined that the switch was wired incorrectly. The wiring was corrected,

the switch successfully retested and returned to service.

A review of all previous Maintenance Requests revealed no generic problems.
