Dear Mr. Seidle:
On May 8, 1980, Mr. M.E. Clark notified Mr. C.R. Oberg of an item which appeared to be potentially reportable under Regulation 10CFR50.55(e). The report concerned the color coding of certain wires contained within safety-related switchgear furnished by General Electric Coreany.
This condition has been evaluated and it has been determined that had this condition gone undetected and uncorrected, a significant reduction in safety would not have resulted at any time throughout the service life of the Wolf Creek No.1 Unit; and, therefore, it is not reportable under Regulation 10CFR50.55(e).
