Dear Mr. Denton:

Our letter Serial No. 526, dated June 10, 1980, provided you with our proposed approach for providing lamp test circuits for the North Anna Unit 2 control room. We indicated at that time that we planned to relamp all indicator circuits not yet having test circuits prior to ex-ceeding five percent power, and again every two months until test circuits were impicmented.

Based on further discussions and agreements with the Staff, it has been concluded that such relamping is neither necessary nor desirabic..

Consequently, we no longer intend to follow this course of a: *an.

How-ever, lamp failures will continue to be replaced as desetioed in om previous letter.
