As a follow up to your letter of April 30, 1930, (TLL 210), subject as above, we have reviewed your proposed modifications for the reactor building,'

narr,ely, the use of the Mine Safety and Appliances Company breathing units in lieu of the Dio Marine Bio Pac 60 units. Based on our review of the ;todi-fications to the entry program and our audit of the additional training and testing to accoccodate the change in breathing units as described in your letter, approval is hereby granted to make one entry into the TMI-2 reactor building noiii scheduled to occur on May 20, 19304 It is r:y understanding that you will initiate purging of the Air lock on Monday, May 19, 1980.

I expect that early notification wil-1 be made to PEMA, Dauphin County Civil' Defense and other local elected offfpials prior to the purging of the' air lock and~
