The staff has reviewed the proposed design modification dated September 8,1975, for the provisions to automatically terminate the

. liquid.radwaste discharge at a predetermined radioactivity level by a continuous liquid radiation monitor as defined in Regulatory Guide 1.21.
Based on the review, we find that the modification.is in conformance with Regulatory Guide 1.21 and'is therefore acceptable to the NRC staff.
