1.0 PURPOSE The purpose of this test was to deronstrate the physical and elec-trical integrity of the test items listed in Table I, while being subjected to random motion testing in accordance with Paragraph 6.6.3.3 of IEEE Std. t975 #
344-M+7 . This document is entitled, " Guide for Seismic Qualification of Class I Electric Equipr.ent for Nuclear Power Generating Stations".

S/N 369-8520 2.O TEST RESULTS 2.1 Potential Transfonrer 2.1.1 Random Motion Testing The results of the visual inspections performed at the ccrapletion of each axis of vibmtion revealed no evidence of external physical damage.
P.S.D. plots of the input randcm spectrum am shown in Appendix A as Runs 3, 4 and 5.
2.1.2 Electrical Testing The results of the electrical measurements made prior to, during and at the completion of the mndcm motion test revealed a step down ratio of 80:1 in lieu of 60:1, which was specified on the tmnsformer name plate.
No major variations in the tmnsformer output was detected as a result of ,
the test exposure. The following is a listing of these measurements:

2.2 Current Transfomer 2.2.1 Randcm Motion Testing The results of the visual inspections performed at the empletion of each axis of vibration revealed no evidence of external physical d aage.

2.2.2 Electrical Testing The results of the electrical measurements made prior to, dt: ring ard at the completion of the mndcm motion test revealed no major variations in the output of the transformer. The following is a listing of these measure-ments:

3.0 TEST PROCEDURES 3.1 Random Motion Test Each test sample was installed on a rigid test fixture and subjec-ted to a 30 second exposure of randcrn vibration, in each of the thme major axes shown in Figures 3.1-1 and 3.1-2. The input vibration spectrum for this test was as follows:

32 Hz to 38.4 Hz -23 dB/ Octave Final Slope - 9 dB/ Octave Oveml1 Gms Level :. 0.5384 During each vibration exposure, the test samples were electrically monitored for any change in the output of the transformer secondary. The elec-trical setup is specified in Paragraphs 3.2.1 and 3.2.2.

3.2 Electrical Testing The voltage ratio of each transfomer was measured before, during l and after each 30 second vibration exposure to detemine any changes as a m-sult of the vibmtion test. The electrical test measurements were performed as follows:

3.2.1 Potential Transfomer The transfomer es electrically connected as shown in Figure 3.1-1 and operated into a 0.9995 chn load. The input at the primry windings and the output voltage drop across the secondary load was measured with digital volt meters. The mtio ms determined as follows:

OU mJr (E) 3.2.2 Current Transfomer The transfomer was electrically connected as shown in Figure 3.1-2 and operated into a 0.9995 ohn load. The input at the primary windings was measured with a digital volt meter across a 1.024 chn resister. A digital ampmeter was placed in series with the 0.9995 ohn load at the transformer secondary. The ratio was detemined as follows:
