Sacramento Municipal Utility District ATTN: Mr. E. K. Davis General Manager 6201 S. Street, P. O. Box 15830 Sacramento, California 95813
Dear Mr. Davis:
2.-5, It is our understanding that the meteorological data collection program in use at the Rancho Seco site has yielded erratic data, for appreciable time periods, since implementation. Recent discussions with your staff indicate undetected maloperation of the meteorological data collection system for a period of approxicately three months.
This is disconcerting, and, in our opinion, reflects poor management of this program. We believe it is essential that immediate i=provements be made. Please advise us of the cause of the maloperation of the data collection equipment, and the steps you plan to take to prevent recurrence.
