In accordance with the understandings which were reficcted by Secretary Udall's letter of March 20, 1964 to Chaircan Senhorg, I an forwarding herewith. Volumes 1, 2, 3, and 4 of the Prclininary Safety Analysis Report filed by Florida Pouar Corporation for t'e proposed construction and operction of tvo pressurized water nuclear reactors at its site on the Gulf' of Mexico, 70 ni!as north of Tr.pa and about 7-1/2 niles northwest of Crystal P.1ver, Citrus County, Florida. The proposed reactors are each designed for operation at 2344 negawatts therealtwith a net electrical output of approxinately 879 mcgnuatto.

We would appreciate rocciving the results of a review by the Geological Survey of.those geological and hydrological features of the proposed reactors locations which nay have a bearing upon our evaluation of the suitability of the propcsed site.

. On the basis of our tentative schedule for this project, it would be desirabic to have your report available for our use by 1:ovember 1,1967.
