Dear Mr. Engelken:

In accordance with Nuclear Regulatory Guide 1.16, Section C.2.a(2),

the Sacramento Municipal Utility District informs you of the following Reportable Occurrence-78-10.

Technical Specifications Section 3.14.5.2 requires fire hose stations that are made inoperable to have an additional operable hose at that station within one hour. On September 14, 1978, this require-c!

meat was not satisfied within the specified time requirement.

A full report and corrective actions will be sent to you within' fourteen (14) days.
